Development Officer – Corporate & Foundation Relations (Alumni/Development Manager II) Salary: $69,913 – $87,391 per year. Applications accepted until July 10, 2026. Key Responsibilities Lead the execution of USC Aiken’s overall strategy for philanthropic revenue attainment from corporate and foundation partners. Research funding opportunities and coordinate preparation, solicitation, and follow-up reporting of grant proposals and sponsorship requests. Serve as an active representative of USCA with corporate, foundation, and community partners. Coordinate stewardship activities, impact reporting and donor communications for corporate and foundation partners. Maintain accurate records of donor interactions, proposals, deadlines and funding outcomes within the CRM system. Required Skills & Knowledge Demonstrated ability to represent the university in a highly professional and effective manner. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, including comfort with proactive outreach, donor engagement, sponsorship discussions and philanthropic solicitation strategies. Ability to identify partner needs, challenges and opportunities, and present solutions aligned with university priorities. Qualifications Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a job‑related field and 2 or more years of job‑related experience, or an equivalent combination of certification, training, education, and/or experience. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree and 3 or more years of experience; knowledge of Blackbaud CRM database; university fundraising experience.
