Dining Room Host Opportunity

At Chick-fil-A, the Dining Room Host role is more than just a job; it's an opportunity. In addition to working directly for an independent Owner/Operator, Dining Room Hosts have the opportunity to make connections, serve our guests, and create a welcoming and friendly environment. They are responsible for providing an exceptional dining experience for everyone they serve each day and for ensuring all guests receive signature Chick-fil-A service and food. This position offers great supplemental income for anyone with a flexible schedule! Ideal for stay-at-home parents, retirees, or anyone else with free days and/or nights!

Position Type:

• Part-time (available anywhere from 10 to 20 hours)
• Scheduled 3-5 hour shifts over peak periods

Dining Room Host Responsibilities:

• Speak enthusiastically, using "My Pleasure"
• Make emotional connections with guests, greeting and serving with enthusiasm and hospitality
• Honor and encourage others to help people be better because of us
• Multitask quickly, yet thoroughly
• Be team-oriented, adaptable, dependable, with a strong work ethic
• Work on their feet for several hours at a time
• Communicate effectively with guests and Team Members
• Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code at all times
• Follow the vision and direction of restaurant leadership
• Provide 2nd mile service by helping guests to their table and proactively clearing and sanitizing tables
• Take out garbage and maintain a clean & organized dining room
• Follow sanitation and safety procedures

• No experience required, all training will be provided
• Consistency and reliability

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to connect with guests

Most Chick-fil-A Restaurants are operated by independent franchised business owners who make all their own employment decisions and are responsible for their own content and policies.
