Contract RN - Labor and Delivery - Georgetown, TX

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM. On-call required. Rotating weekends.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for our Labor and Delivery unit. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care for patients during labor, delivery, postpartum, and special care nursery phases. This role demands proficiency in handling various high-risk maternal cases and performing essential procedures related to maternal and infant care.

• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being during labor and delivery.
• Administer medications and IV therapy as prescribed.
• Perform duties related to postpartum care and education for new mothers.
• Assist in special care nursery operations as needed.
• Utilize advanced monitoring equipment to ensure patient safety.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care.

• Current RN license.
• Labor or Postpartum experience within the last year.
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP are required.
• Experience in LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) is preferred.
• NICU or Transition/Baby Catching Experience is a plus.
