Packaging Operator-2nd shift

Currently hiring for packaging operators for a local pharmaceutical company located in the Hauppauge area. Candidates with experience working in nutriceutical or pharmaceutical are encouraged to apply but open to candidates with entry level experience.  Monday-Friday- with overtime available 3:30pm-12:00am $19.25 an hour ( based on experience) 40 hours a week plus overtime Weekly pay period Must be able to submit to a background and drug test  If you are interested in learning more about this role , please text Chamira at Show phone number for more information or schedule a time speak today!

Responsibilities

• Perform all functions according to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Operate automatic packaging equipment.
• Document packaging activities.
• Feed filling equipment.
• Palletize finished products.
• Perform line cleaning.
• Return unused material/product.
• Participate in safety related programs and or safety teams as needed.
• Reconcile product bulk, material, packaging, and printed materials.

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes
• manual lifting up to 40lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
