Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 9 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.

• 9 months of acute care experience within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Louisiana license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - HCA - North TX Division.

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience caring for stroke patients. Chemo experience is a plus.

Special Requests: 50+ mile radius required. Block scheduling available.

Unit Details: Assignment is on 6A Med-Surg/Oncology. Unit secretaries available 6 am – 10 pm; techs available on all shifts. iPhones used for communication via Immobile app; computers and scanners in every room. Core group of very experienced staff on every shift.

Shift & Scheduling: 12 hour shifts with rotating weekends.

Floating Requirements: Will float to other Med-Surg and Tele units.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
