Our experienced team is committed to creating a welcoming environment where patients feel valued and team members are supported. We are seeking a part-time Dental Hygienist who is outgoing, personable, and eager to learn and grow while contributing to our positive office culture.

Position Details

• Schedule: Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Friday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Employment Type: Part-Time
• Practice Environment: Established, supportive, and patient-centered
• Provide comprehensive preventive and periodontal dental hygiene services
• Educate patients on oral health, treatment recommendations, and preventive care
• Build strong patient relationships through exceptional communication and customer service
• Collaborate with doctors and team members to ensure an outstanding patient experience
• Maintain accurate clinical records and treatment documentation
• Take advantage of opportunities for continued learning and professional development

Required Qualifications

• Active Kentucky Dental Hygienist license in good standing
• Outgoing and personable attitude with a passion for patient care
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Willingness to learn and grow within an established practice
• Professional, dependable, and patient-focused approach
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Commitment to providing high-quality clinical care and patient education

Qualifications:

• Current dental hygienist license
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office
• Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment
