Rehab Solutions is hiring a Full Time/Part Time or PRN Occupational Therapist to join our growing Home Health team in the Missouri City, Sugar Land, Richmond, and Rosenberg area!

Responsibilities:

• Patient Assessment: Evaluate patients' functional capabilities, cognitive levels, sensory processing, and physical conditions impacting their activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Treatment and Education: Provide therapeutic activities, adaptive techniques, and interventions to enhance independence, fine motor coordination, and overall daily functionality. Educate patients and families on the use of adaptive equipment, home modifications, joint protection, and energy conservation techniques to facilitate safe independence and lifestyle adjustments.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Collaboration: Work with healthcare providers to ensure cohesive, comprehensive patient care and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed.

Requirements:

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Licensure: Valid State Licensure as an Occupational Therapist, or license eligible. NBCOT certification preferred.
• Skills: Strong clinical assessment, task analysis, and functional goal-setting skills. Proficient in developing and implementing creative, evidence-based treatment plans. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and assist patients with transfers and functional mobility as needed. Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to occupational therapy interventions.
