Line cook

DESCRIPTION

As a Cook (Line, Grill, Fry) , you are responsible for creating an unforgettable guest experience by preparing high-quality food with consistency, speed, and attention to detail. Our cooks are cross-trained and work together to keep both the kitchen and dining room running smoothly. We believe everyone is part of one team, and we support each other wherever help is needed.

What You Will Do

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, quality standards, and food safety guidelines.
• Work assigned stations, including the grill, fryer, flat top, and bread station.
• Prepare, portion, and stock ingredients before and during each shift.
• Read and prioritize tickets to ensure food is prepared accurately and in a timely manner.
• Run food to guests when needed to help provide excellent service.
• Assist with front expo to ensure orders are complete, accurate, and presented properly.
• Help maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including stations, prep areas, counters, cutting boards, utensils, and equipment.
• Wash dishes and assist in the dish area whenever needed.
• Help bus and clean dining room tables and maintain a clean, welcoming dining area.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning, stocking, and preparing the restaurant for service.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards.
• Work as part of a team by stepping in wherever needed to support coworkers and provide the best possible guest experience.

• Skill and coordination in using kitchen utensils and equipment.
