Entry Level Phlebotomist

Job Description Part‑time, flexible role at BioLife Plasma Donation Centers. Most shifts are 4 to 6 hours per day, 3+ days per week, designed to fit your schedule. Availability and shift days/times confirmed early in the interview process. Reliability during scheduled hours is highly valued. About The Role The role involves patient-facing responsibilities and phlebotomy support for plasma donation operations. You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. How You Will Contribute Answer phones and greet donors, ensuring their safety. Screen new and repeat donors; record vital signs and finger‑stick results. Use the Donor Information System, prepare charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation. Identify operational improvement opportunities and initiate changes to center processes using approved procedures. What You Bring To Takeda High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to walk/stand entire shift. Availability evenings, weekends, holidays. Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, reach above shoulders and below knees. Ability to lift up to 32 lbs. occasionally 50 lbs. Fine motor coordination, depth perception, hearing ability. Commitment to prolonged glove wear for 90% of tasks due to bloodborne pathogen risk. At least one year of customer or patient‑facing experience preferred.
