This is a HYBRID role - 3 days on customer site in Bethesda, MD. This role will require you to obtain and maintain a Public Trust and will require you to provide onsite fingerprinting at a designated facility. This investigation may review personal and criminal behavior, financial conduct, foreign influence, as well as other adjudications. Responsibilities: Performs routine scanning and ticket support Documents findings and tracks remediation actions Supports incident response activities Monitor, evaluate, and maintain systems and procedures to safeguard internal information systems, network, databases, and Web-based security Safeguards the network against unauthorized infiltration, modification, destruction, or disclosure Researches, evaluates, tests, and implements new security software or devices Required Qualifications: BS/BA or equivalent combination of education and experience 3 years in security operations support Experience with scanning and incident ticketing Skilled in updating security documentation Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Preferred Qualifications: NIH experience strongly preferred Experience supporting a Federal programs GDIT IS YOUR PLACE: At GDIT, the mission is our purpose, and our people are at the center of everything we do. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
