General Manager

We are looking for team members who want to deliver a flavor experience. We are looking for excellent full-time General Manager candidates to join our management team. The primary role of the General Manager will be to work in tandem with the District Manager to oversee the daily operations of the store, provide exceptional customer service and proactively manage the front- and back-of house team. The ideal candidate is focused on excellent customer service and excellent operational results, and has demonstrated restaurant leadership experience and has a passion for growing the business. Responsibilities Oversee daily store operations in partnership with the District Manager; provide exceptional customer service and proactively manage front- and back-of-house teams; focus on operational results and leadership development. Recruit, select, orient, train, assign, and schedule team members in partnership with the District Manager. Work with District Manager and Human Resources to manage performance, including coaching, counseling, and disciplining staff; communicate job expectations; monitor and review performance and compensation actions; enforce policies and procedures. Communicate effectively with the District Manager about operational and human resources issues. Perform regular restaurant inspections to ensure standards are met; track inventory and maintain accurate records. Identify and resolve issues with food preparation; help the team handle customer service issues with grace and courtesy to cultivate happy, returning customers. Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy facility by enforcing sanitation standards and procedures; ensure safety procedures, injury reporting, equipment maintenance, and regulatory compliance; maintain security systems. Accomplish company goals by taking ownership of new and different responsibilities and seeking opportunities to add value. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of previous food service, retail or restaurant supervisory experience. Strong guest service mentality; ability to maintain a calm, tactful demeanor in difficult situations. Ability to measure performance, both subjectively and objectively; superior leadership, organizational and time management skills. Flexible schedule including weekends and nights.
