Pay range for this position is $34.25 - $51.13/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure. This is a hourly position. Shift Differentials Weekends – $3.25/hour Will need to float to the St. Mary Medical Center Wound Clinic in Galesburg when needed* Overview POSITION SUMMARY: The RN Wound/Enterostomy implements and evaluates the activities for total patient care, following outlined protocols, in the delivery of acute and chronic wound care, enterostomy care, and hyperbaric treatments. They demonstrate competency and are responsible for treating various types of patients seen including critically ill and chronically ill patients, ranging in age from pediatric to geriatric. They perform various educational activities, including infection control, aseptic dressing technique, and preventive care. They educate patient, significant other and/or caretaker, including a return demonstration within the Medical Center and community. Area of focus may be inpatient or outpatient. Qualifications Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing Experience: 2 years of nursing experience Licensure/Certification: IL Reg Nurse License or MI Reg Nurse License Other skills/knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
