Job Description Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City is seeking a Nursing Intern for our Medical Intermediate Unit. Location Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City located in Kansas City, MO. Unit Overview This location is a Magnet designated facility and a leader in Academic Medical Centers. This unit provides care to medical short stay high acuity patients in a fast-paced environment. Position Details This position is PRN and is year round. PRN Swing (United States of America). Role Responsibilities Provide patient care for assigned patients under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse. Perform direct and indirect patient care activities. Provide support to other health care team members. May perform technical tasks per unit competency validation. Restricted from performing any licensed tasks. Qualifications Be enrolled in a formal nursing school Have a certified nursing assistant certificate Successfully completed SLHS NA internal training program Completed their fundamentals of care course in nursing school Applicable experience: Less than 1 year Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross Nursing Student - Various Additional Information Equal Opportunity Employer.
