About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Clinic Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10 hours Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: Minimum of 2+ years in hemo/onc infusion including triage and phlebotomy. License: Valid nursing license. Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Bio/Chemotherapy Certification (preferred: Certification in Oncology Nursing). Must-Have: - Basic Life Support (BLS) - Bio/Chemotherapy Certification (preferred: Certification in Oncology Nursing) Description: This position is for a busy hemo/onc clinic with an infusion suite. The clinic has 35 bays and beds with an average patient ratio of 1:6. Required experience includes hemo/onc infusion along with triage and phlebotomy. Experience with IV and port placement is necessary. Candidate must have experience with the administration of chemotherapy agents. Basic computer proficiency is required, including the ability to access, enter, and interpret computerized data and information. Candidates must possess effective interpersonal skills to facilitate communication with various members of the healthcare team, patients, and families. Strong organizational skills are needed to set priorities and efficiently complete assigned work. Ability to effectively delegate appropriate patient care activities is essential. Effective verbal and written communication skills appropriate to the patient populations served are required.
