Payroll Analyst

Process bi-weekly, semi-monthly, or weekly payroll for multi-state employees. Review and validate payroll data, including hours worked, overtime, bonuses, commissions, deductions, and taxes. Ensure payroll is processed accurately and in compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations. Reconcile payroll reports, earnings, deductions, taxes, and general ledger accounts. Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies, employee inquiries, and payroll-related issues in a timely manner. Process employee status changes, including new hires, terminations, promotions, and compensation adjustments. Coordinate payroll activities with Human Resources, Benefits, Finance, and Accounting teams. Maintain payroll records and ensure data integrity within HRIS and payroll systems. Support year-end payroll activities, including W-2 preparation, tax reporting, and payroll audits. Assist with payroll reconciliations, internal controls, and compliance initiatives. Prepare payroll reports and analyze payroll data to identify trends, discrepancies, and process improvement opportunities. Support payroll system testing, upgrades, and implementation projects as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. 2+ years of payroll processing or payroll analyst experience. Experience processing payroll for multi-state employees is preferred. Working knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations. Experience with payroll and HRIS systems such as ADP, Workday, UKG (UltiPro), Ceridian Dayforce, Paycom, Oracle HCM, or SAP SuccessFactors. #J-18808-Ljbffr Atlantic Group
