Job Description
Landscape Laborers play a crucial role in maintaining the aesthetics and health of outdoor environments. They work independently during day shifts performing moderate physical labor to prepare sites, plant, and maintain lawns and gardens. Skilled in using power and basic hand tools, these professionals ensure landscapes are tidy, healthy, and visually appealing while occasionally interacting with customers.
Responsibilities
- Prepare sites for landscaping projects including clearing and grading
- Plant trees, shrubs, flowers, and other greenery
- Perform lawn maintenance such as mowing, edging, and trimming
- Apply mulch and control weeds to promote healthy growth
- Operate equipment including power tools and basic hand tools safely
- Remove debris and load materials for transport or disposal
- Interact professionally with customers to address questions and provide updates
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience working in landscaping
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in landscape maintenance and equipment operation
- Strong manual labor skills with physical stamina
- Effective time management abilities
- Customer service experience
