Radiology Technician

Role A Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures under the supervision of radiologists and technical directors. They prepare and position patients, operate imaging equipment, and ensure high-quality images, adhering to safety and regulatory standards. Responsibilities Perform x-ray, fluoroscopy, C-arm, O-arm, portable, and dental procedures following physician orders and departmental protocols. Properly identify patients, review orders, and document in hospital systems. Maintain equipment cleanliness, explain procedures to patients, and ensure image quality. Communicate effectively with staff and patients, and adhere to policies and safety standards. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited radiography program with an active ODH license and ARRT certification. Experience with diagnostic imaging equipment is preferred. Must have current BLS certification. Skills include effective communication, clinical judgment, equipment operation proficiency, attention to detail, adaptability, and computer skills.
