WHAT IS THE OBJECTIVE OF A HOST/HOSTESS AT THE KLING HOUSE RESTAURANT?

Be the first and last positive interaction with our guests by spreading happiness and creating exceptional experiences & lasting memories. A timely greeting and seating of all our guests. Ensure every guest feels welcome as they arrive and appreciated as they leave.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Greet guests in a pleasant and professional manner
• Systematically seat guests to appropriate sections of the restaurant and table number
• Ability to use restaurant computer system
• Take reservations properly and ensure reservations are seated properly
• Count and handle money accurately in the form of cash, credit cards, coupons, etc.
• General housekeeping duties in FOH
• Table to table visits to ensure guests satisfaction and to build relationships
• Village knowledge
• Knowledge of lobby products and the ability to sell them
• Ability to work varied shifts and available to work Saturdays and holidays
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned
