Job Description

Fully onsite position in Rochester, MI. 

Schedule:

• Onsite 5 days/week 9am-530pm 
• Weekends are not required but offered 
• Start and end of day is flexible depending on population that they see but 1-2 evenings until 6 or 7 is preferred.

Compensation: 25.52-38.28/hr depending on experience

Responsibilities:

• Conducts patient assessments and establishes therapy treatment goals.
• Administers individual and group therapy. Maintains thorough and confidential records of observations.
• Evaluates progress and effectiveness of therapy interventions.
• Provides patient with information regarding resources and therapeutic activities in the community.
• Works directly with the patient, family, physician and community providers to ensure active and collaborate care from the initiation of treatment to the time of discharge.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Masters Degree with at least 3 years experience in the field of counseling, social work or psychology (Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required).

CERTIFICATION/LICENCES REQUIRED One or more of the following required:

• Licensed Master Social Worker credentialed from the Michigan Board of Social Work obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Verified by local Credentialing Office. - Licensed Counselor credentialed from the Michigan Board of Counseling obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Verified by local Credentialing Office. - Licensed Psychologist credentialed from the Michigan Board of Psychology obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Verified by local Credentialing Office. - Therapist specializing in Marriage & Family obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Any issuing authority accepted.
• Verified by local Credentialing Office.
• BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association accepted.
