Overview Dispatcher – HVAC, Plumbing & Electrical Location: Southlake, TX Schedule: Full-Time | In Office Department: Customer Service / Operations Compensation: $18-20/hour DOE Keep the Day Moving. Berkeys Plumbing, A/C & Electrical is looking for an experienced Dispatcher who thrives in a fast-paced environment and knows how to keep a busy field-service operation moving. If you're someone who can look at a packed dispatch board, quickly prioritize what needs to happen next, communicate confidently with technicians and customers, and adjust the plan when the unexpected happens — we want to talk to you. Our Dispatchers play a critical role in maximizing technician productivity, improving route efficiency, protecting the customer experience, and helping our HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical teams succeed every day. Technology You'll Use You'll work heavily in ServiceTitan , including dispatch, scheduling, customer, and technician-management functions. You'll also utilize phone systems, chat platforms, mapping tools, electronic communication systems, and Microsoft Office. If you're an experienced Dispatcher who can think ahead, make decisions, communicate clearly, and keep a high-volume field operation running smoothly, we'd love to meet you. Responsibilities What You’ll Do As a Dispatcher, you'll take ownership of the daily dispatch board and make real-time decisions throughout the day to keep our field teams productive and our customers informed. Manage and optimize the daily dispatch board for HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical technicians Assign and move calls based on urgency, location, technician skill set, workload, and customer commitments Keep technicians moving efficiently from one call to the next while minimizing unnecessary downtime Monitor technician status, travel time, job progress, delays, and schedule capacity throughout the day Review upcoming appointments and prepare future calls to support staffing and capacity Review job information before dispatch to ensure technicians have accurate customer, equipment, service, and appointment details Quickly adjust schedules and routes when emergencies, cancellations, traffic, extended jobs, or other unexpected changes occur Communicate schedule changes, delays, and arrival updates professionally with customers Partner closely with technicians, Customer Service, and department leaders to resolve scheduling and operational challenges Maintain accurate dispatch notes, technician assignments, call statuses, and follow-up information in ServiceTitan Identify potential service emergencies, capacity concerns, and customer escalations and ensure they’re handled appropriately Qualifications What We’re Looking For High school diploma or GED required ServiceTitan dispatch experience required 3+ years of dispatch, scheduling, call-center, or related experience preferred Previous experience dispatching field-service technicians strongly preferred HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Home Services, or similar field-service industry experience preferred Experience managing a high-volume dispatch board and multiple service areas strongly preferred Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills Ability to make sound decisions quickly in a changing environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation Comfortable navigating multiple systems and screens simultaneously Ability to work full-time in office in Southlake #BerkeysLI#LI-JF1 Wrench Group and its affiliates are proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
