The Opportunity We are looking for a Staff Engineer with a minimum of five years of experience. The ideal candidate for this opportunity is organized, has solid communication skills, can work independently, is team oriented, and personable. This position requires a dependable, versatile individual who has experience in civil engineering design. Candidates are required to have a California PE License or qualified for licensure and actively in the process of obtaining a PE license. Responsibilities: Works under general direction on complex projects to prepare designs, reports, and calculations in accordance with project requirements and engineering standards Works to ensure projects are on schedule, within budget and meet the requirements of our clients Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering Minimum five years of demonstrated design and plan preparation experience California PE License or EIT registered and actively pursuing a California PE License Current experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent customer service skills including an ability to interact professionally and knowledgeably with clients Self‑motivated and goal oriented, with strong attention to detail Solid experience with the MS Office Suite We offer a generous salary and benefits package that includes company paid medical and dental insurance, vacation and a 401(k) plan.
