Fueler/ Lube Technician

Technician

This technician will perform required equipment fueling and preventative maintenance operations at construction job sites.

Duties include:

• Performs fueling and preventative maintenance duties as required by Equipment Superintendent
• Helps control fuel and preventative maintenance costs
• Ensure fuel and oils are topped off
• Maintains good communication with Equipment Superintendent and operations staff
• Keeps detailed fuel/oil usage logs
• Maintains company equipment - keeps in good clean orderly condition
• Work safely at all times
• Adhere to all applicable safety policies
• Comply with all company policies, procedures and standards
• Keeps pertinent in-house personnel informed about date of service, discrepancies found, general machine condition and suggested action required

Requirements include:

• (2-3) previous experience in similar position
• CDL required
• Hazmat Endorsement
• Tanker Endorsement
• Must be willing to travel out of state as needed
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance
• Takes instruction well from management - including the ability to demonstrates attention to detail, and active listening skills with the ability to learn quickly
• Must be able to work in a field and shop environment with little to no supervision
• Must be able to work in all degrees of weather
• Must put SAFETY first by adhering to all safety rules
