As an Associate on the Credit Risk Management team, you will support Chase Card Services by delivering analytics and insights that inform credit risk decisions related to co-brand portfolio conversions and new product features. You will partner with teams across Risk, Product, Marketing, and Technology to balance portfolio performance with business objectives while strengthening decision rules and monitoring capabilities. You will help identify risks and opportunities, translate analyses into clear recommendations, and promote strong risk management practices.

Job responsibilities:

• Monitor internal and external behavioral data and industry trends to continuously improve risk management processes
• Identify and assess performance trends using statistical, data mining, and quantitative methods
• Analyze and challenge the performance of key business initiatives, independently generating solutions and recommended actions
• Conduct root cause analysis and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leaders and stakeholders
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support portfolio risk decision rules and ongoing enhancements
• Lead and support initiatives end-to-end by defining problem statements, identifying risks and opportunities, securing stakeholder alignment, and driving delivery
• Support development and maintenance of the risk management framework, helping ensure alignment to regulatory expectations
• Prepare and present risk monitoring reports and insights to senior management and stakeholders

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative discipline such as Finance, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics
• Minimum 3 years of experience in consumer lending risk management and/or consumer banking project implementation.
• Strong analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving skills with ability to structure and execute analyses logically
• Ability to translate complex analysis into practical solutions and concise, executive-ready presentations
• Hands-on experience on using at least two of the following tools: SAS, SQL, or Python
• Strong attention to detail and a results-oriented mindset, with ability to make independent decisions
• Initiative owner in a consumer lending risk management system deployment project preferred

Risk Management helps the firm understand, manage and anticipate risks in a constantly changing environment. The work covers areas such as evaluating country-specific risk, understanding regulatory changes and determining credit worthiness.
