Senior Editorial Producer

We are looking for a Senior Editorial Producer to join the FOX Business team in Washington, DC. As the Senior Editorial Producer, you have excellent editorial judgment, can craft compelling reporter story ideas and pitches, and supervise the DC assignment desk's newsgathering efforts to support reporter and show teams. A focus on both business and political news is a must. You will be offered the following shift: Sunday through Thursday, 11:0_ AM - 8:00 PM. Senior Editorial Producer Role Type Full-time Requirements Bachelor's degree in journalism or related field of study preferred, or equivalent experience 5+ years of newsroom experience and/or producing in the field or for a television newscast Excellent organizational and supervisory skills as well as the ability to create an environment that fosters teamwork Demonstrated experience with handling on-air talent and working with an assignment desk Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure and meet multiple daily deadlines Exceptional editorial and writing skills, with the ability to recognize stories with high potential for compelling television Ability to recognize stories with high potential for compelling television Strong knowledge and passion for current events, politics, and business news stories shaping the national conversation is essential Must be flexible and willing to jump in whenever news breaks, including hours outside of usual shift Full-time Compensation: $128,000 - $149,000 /year USD #J-18808-Ljbffr MFI Technologies Incorporated
