Jackson and Coker is seeking four Urgent Care Physicians for a locum tenens opportunity in Missouri, starting ASAP. This role involves providing comprehensive urgent care services to both adult and pediatric patients across multiple centers. The position offers an engaging environment with a focus on patient care and requires a commitment to working various shifts, including weekends.

- Practice setting: Outpatient urgent care
- Average patient volume: 36–48 patients per shift
- Support staff: 1 medical assistant and 1 office staff member; no RN/LPN support
- Onsite X-ray and EKG available
- EMR: Epic
Responsibilities
- Suturing and wound care, including incision and drainage
- Splinting and casting
- Reading EKGs and X-rays
- Drawing blood
- Providing pediatric care
- Seeing both adult and pediatric patients

Shift & Schedule
- Centers typically open 8 AM – 8 PM Monday – Friday and 9 AM – 5 PM Saturday – Sunday
- Moving to 12-hour shifts on weekends (required)
- Preference for providers able to work blocks of shifts, including weekdays and weekends
Requirements
- Residency trained xihmbke and board certified or board eligible (within 5 years of residency) in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med/Peds (ABMS or AOB only)
- Licensed in Missouri or eligible via IMLC
- Must be trained and comfortable seeing both adult and pediatric patients
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
- Pediatric care experience (minimum 6+ months)
- Epic experience - highly preferred
- Local providers - highly preferred
