Samaritans Purse is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our staff and supervise a highly motivated team based in North Wilkesboro, NC. You will ensure cleaning tasks are performed safely, correctly, and in accordance with ministry standards of excellence at the various locations. A day in the life of a Housekeeping Supervisor:

In the role of Housekeeping Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to:

• Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him.
• Supervise and manage the 1st shift housekeeping staff including the scheduling and directing of work assignments for the cleaning of buildings, office and restrooms.
• Assist with planning of current needs for 2 nd shift and Off-site locations.
• Coordinate departmental workload between staff and assist with day-to-day tasks.
• Report maintenance or safety items discovered during scheduled work.
• Maintain inventory and order all cleaning-related supplies and equipment.
• Maintain and submit weekly updates to Housekeeping Manager.
• Follow policies and procedures of Samaritan's Purse as set forth in the Policy Manual.
• Attend daily morning devotions and participate in prayer support for the ministry, its donors and volunteers
• Maintain a strong Christian witness to colleagues, vendors, charitable beneficiaries, and the public.
• Other duties may be assigned that are not specifically identified within the content of the job description.

Qualifications & Experience :

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED) and one (1) to two (2) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Job Location: North Wilkesboro, NC

Type: Full-time

Language Requirement: Fluency in English

Travel Expectations: Infrequent domestic travel (less than 5%)
