Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Iowa, requiring 24 months of L&D experience, Epic proficiency, and an active IA or compact RN license.

Details

• Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital setting
• Patient population includes Labor & Delivery cases with potential nursery and Mother-Baby crossover
• Epic EMR experience required
• Infrequent floating to Med Surg or ICU to assist with med pass or tech cares may be required

Requirements

• Active Iowa (IA) or compact/multistate RN license required
• Minimum 24 months of Labor & Delivery (L&D) experience required
• Nursery and/or Mother-Baby experience highly preferred
• Postpartum experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC), ACLS (AHA), NRP, and Intermediate EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) certificate
• AWHONN certification required
• Driver's license required for consideration
• One supervisory performance evaluation or professional reference from within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates who were employed by the facility within the 12 months prior to applying may not be eligible
• Travelers are expected to work 2 of the 3 winter holidays: Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving
• Time-off requests during the Thanksgiving and winter holiday periods are limited to 1 day per holiday window
