Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant
Location: Glendive, MT
Type: Contract | 13 Weeks
Shift & Schedule: Day Shift | Full-Time | 40 Hours Per Week

Pay Rate:
Local: $35 - $40/hour
Travel: $40 - $46/hour

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for an exciting Travel or Local job in Glendive, MT.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans for patients.

• Provide therapeutic exercises and mobility training to improve patient strength, balance, and coordination.

• Support patients with gait training, transfers, and functional mobility activities.

• Monitor patient progress and report changes or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist.

• Document patient treatments and progress accurately according to facility guidelines.

• Educate patients and families on exercise programs and mobility techniques.

• Ensure safe handling and positioning of patients during therapy sessions.

• Maintain compliance with rehabilitation protocols and facility policies.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support patient recovery goals.

Required Qualifications

• Active Montana Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License.

• Minimum 1 year of recent PTA experience preferred.

• Strong understanding of rehabilitation therapy principles and patient care techniques.

• Ability to work independently under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong documentation and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing settings.

• Experience working with geriatric populations.

• Veteran care experience.

• Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
