Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with at least 1 year of experience in X-ray procedures and surgical C-arm use.

Details

• 4x10 hour day shifts (7:00 AM-7:00 PM) or night shifts (7:00 PM-5:00 AM)
• On-call is voluntary and appreciated but not required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Settings include Adult/Pediatric Acute Care, Adult/Pediatric Outpatient, Bedside/Portable Procedures, Emergency Department, ICU, NICU, Operating Room, and PICU
• Performs abdomen/GI, upper and lower extremity, spine and pelvis, chest and thorax, and head imaging
• Performs fluoroscopy studies including barium swallow, contrast enema, ERCP, trauma cases, and upper GI series
• Performs mobile/surgical imaging including C-arm procedures, portable abdomen, and portable chest
• Uses GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba equipment with PACS
• May float between sister facilities near the contracted site

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• ARRT (R) and BLS certification required
• WA state license required in hand at time of submission; license required if applicable
• Experience with contrast media preparation and/or administration
• Knowledge of infection prevention, isolation precautions/PPE, and radiation safety
• Teaching hospital, community hospital, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred

Additional Information

• Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted up front; post-offer requests may not be granted
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Former Providence permanent employees must be separated from the health system for at least 3 months before qualifying for a travel position
• Candidates must disclose any prior work history with Providence facilities, including dates and locations
• Two supervisory references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years are required
• Accepted at a lower bill rate for candidates within a 50-mile radius of the facility
