The role requires a focus on step-down patients, vent management, cardiac and insulin drips, and responding to emergency events under the supervision of the organization. Job Details Position: ICU RN in the Intensive Care Unit at a healthcare facility in Saint Albans, VT. Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: VT Registered Nurse (RN) license or multistate compact license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale); 3-4 years of Critical Care experience preferred; 1 year of experience required. Responsibilities include caring for vented patients with respiratory therapy support, managing basic cardiac and insulin drips, responding to Rapid Response and Code Blue events, and assisting in interpreting tele rhythm strips. Additional Information: The majority of patients are step down patients.
