Food Service Worker

Job Purpose:The Food Service Worker at ECI Management Group is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the food service department. This role involves preparing and serving food, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, and handling customer transactions efficiently to ensure a high-quality dining experience for all patrons.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and cook food items according to standardized recipes and menus, ensuring quality and consistency.Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, dining areas, and equipment by following established procedures and guidelines.Operate the cash register, handle cash transactions accurately, and provide excellent customer service to all guests.Assist in the setup and breakdown of food service areas for various meal services and events.Monitor inventory levels and communicate with management regarding supply needs.Adhere to all safety and health regulations while performing job duties.Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient food service operations.Perform other related duties as assigned to support the goals of ECIBase Pay: $17.20 per hourHealth & Welfare (H&W) Pay in Lieu of Benefits: $4.93* per hour — provided to employees who opt out of company-sponsored insurance.Total Combined Pay: $22.13 per hour*Required Education:High school diploma or equivalent.Required Experience:Previous experience in a food service or customer service role is preferred.Experience in a fast-paced environment is advantageous.Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations.Required Skills and Abilities:Strong ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Basic math skills for handling cash and processing transactions.Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.Capability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.Physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.A customer-focused attitude with a commitment to providing high-quality service. #J-18808-Ljbffr
