The Nursing Supervisor ensures high-quality, cost-efficient patient care by making appropriate staffing decisions. This position demonstrates responsibility for human resource management within the nursing division to achieve high-quality patient care and promote harmonious employee relations. The Nursing Supervisor functions as the on-site hospital representative accountable for coordinating the operational and administrative activities required for the smooth functioning of the hospital during evening, night, and weekend shifts. This role is a member of the nursing leadership team, planning and directing nursing division activities in compliance with established policies and procedures to achieve divisional goals and objectives. The Nursing Supervisor establishes and maintains interdisciplinary communication and cooperation.
