Join us and play an important part on our incredible team!**What you get to do:**You’ll be responsible for performing all general maintenance of rides in order to provide a safe environment for guests and team members alike. We’re looking to you to make sure our rides are good to go! You will:* Conduct daily ride inspections.* Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled services.* Provide support in troubleshooting problems with mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic equipment.* Provide excellent service to guests and team members.* Consistently practice safe work habits including, but not limited to the use of personal protective equipment, lifting and reporting of unsafe situations**What it takes to succeed:*** Must be at least 18 years of age.* High school diploma or equivalent* Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a park driver’s license.* Ability to provide and use basic hand tools.* Ability to pass all ride competency tests and obtain certification.* Must be able to frequently lift, push and pull a minimum of 50 pounds.* Excellent communication skills and basic math abilities* Ability to walk uphill and work on heights above 150 feet.* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.* Ability to stand, walk, and work for prolonged periods of time in extreme weather.* Flexibility in working varied hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.**Compensation:** $25.00 PHThe perks of the position:* Paid Time Off* Complimentary Park Tickets and Passes* Park Discounts on Food and Merchandise* Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance* 401K Retirement plan* Voluntary Insurance* Life Insurance* Disability Benefits* Tuition Reimbursement* Dependent and Health Care Flexible Spending Accounts* Employee Assistance Program* Legal Assistance Plan**EEO Employer:**SEAWORLD PARKS & ENTERTAINMENT IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
