Job Description:
As a CADD Support Consultant , you will provide technical support, implementation assistance, training, and best practice guidance for CADD software environments. The role focuses on supporting engineering and design teams, maintaining CADD standards, troubleshooting software issues, and assisting with the adoption of modern design technologies and workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day support for CADD software users and resolve technical issues.

• Troubleshoot and manage support requests through the ticketing system.

• Install, configure, and maintain CADD software and user workspaces.

• Assist internal and external users with workspace setup and implementation.

• Support the development, testing, and deployment of CADD software solutions.

• Maintain engineering software standards, documentation, and best practices.

• Develop and deliver user training sessions and instructional materials.

• Document and improve business processes related to CADD software usage.

• Research emerging CADD technologies and recommend process and technology enhancements.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful adoption of software and workflow improvements.

Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:

• 2-4 years of experience supporting, testing, and implementing CADD software solutions.

• 2-4 years of experience documenting and improving business processes related to CADD environments.

• Hands-on experience with Bentley OpenRoads Designer and Bentley OpenBridge Modeler.

• Experience supporting Bentley InRoads, MicroStation SS2, CAiCE, and Bentley MicroStation environments.

• Strong troubleshooting, software installation, and end-user support skills.

• Experience developing technical documentation, workflows, and software best practices.

• Ability to conduct user training and knowledge transfer sessions.

• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Python knowledge is strongly preferred; Visual Basic experience is a plus.

• Public sector, transportation, or transportation engineering experience is highly preferred.

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $45.00 to $65.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
