Job Description
Join Our Dynamic Team as a Sterile Processing Technician!

Job Description:
- Embrace a pivotal role in the healthcare field, ensuring the safety and efficiency of surgical operations.
- Under direct supervision, you will:
- Care for, handle, and store instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary for surgery.
- Process goods for redistribution throughout the Medical Center.
- Assist Sterile Processing Specialists with various team lead duties, including maintaining competencies.

Key Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) - REQUIRED
- Active HSPA certification for at least 2 years - REQUIRED
- Flu vaccination required - DECLINATIONS NOT APPROVED - REQUIRED
- COVID vaccination required - DECLINATIONS NOT APPROVED, MUST BE STATE RECORDED - REQUIRED
- Candidates must be willing to work the facility's schedule - REQUIRED
- Previous travel experience - REQUIRED
- Local candidates accepted, no rate change

- GBMC cover page (can be provided if not available) - REQUIRED
- Updated resume (gaps over 30 days must be clearly explained) - REQUIRED
- 1 supervisory reference from the last 6 months - REQUIRED
- 1 supervisory reference from the last 12 months - REQUIRED
- Skills checklist specific to Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) - REQUIRED
- Active American Heart Association BLS - REQUIRED
- Proof of COVID vaccination - DECLINATIONS NOT ACCEPTED - REQUIRED
- Proof of flu vaccination - DECLINATIONS NOT ACCEPTED - REQUIRED
