We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Travel Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dynamic behavioral health team in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. This opportunity is ideal for nurses who are passionate about supporting patients with mental health needs while enjoying the flexibility and benefits of travel nursing.

Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to adult and/or adolescent psychiatric patients.
Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and behavioral changes.
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders.
Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, social workers, and multidisciplinary teams.
Respond appropriately to crisis situations and de-escalate challenging behaviors.
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Requirements
Active RN license (South Dakota license or compact/multistate license preferred).
Minimum 1–2 years of recent psychiatric or behavioral health nursing experience.
Current BLS certification.
CPI, PMAB, or equivalent behavioral intervention certification preferred.
Strong communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills.
Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments.
