Patient Access Representative I

Provide administrative coverage at the front desk for the Summerville Pediatric Specialty Clinic and Afterhours Clinic. Responsibilities include monitoring answering phones, checking in patients, and scheduling appointments. Hours of Operation: MondayFriday: 8:00 a.m. 10:00 p.m. Weekends and Holidays: 12:00 p.m. 7:00 p.m.

This position follows a rotating schedule consisting of three shifts that change weekly, with a requirement to work every third weekend.

Example rotation:

• Week 1: MondayFriday, 8:00 a.m. 4:30 p.m.
• Week 2: MondayFriday, 2:00 p.m. 10:30 p.m.
• Week 3: TuesdayThursday, 10:00 a.m. 6:30 p.m., plus Saturday and Sunday

High school diploma or equivalent (GED), with 1 year of customer service experience. Ability to interpret and apply financial procedures and regulations preferred. Previous experience with hospital information systems or word processing preferred.
