Registered Nurse - NICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized neonatal nursing care to infants less than one year old within the NICU setting. Float to adjacent units as needed to meet patient care demands, ensuring optimal health outcomes for vulnerable neonatal patients.

Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to neonatal patients, including stabilization, monitoring, and treatment.
Float between NICU, PICU, Peds Acute, and overflow units based on system needs.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
Adhere to safety protocols, including proper use of equipment and infection control measures.
Complete required education and compliance documentation within designated timeframes.
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in Epic and other relevant health records.

Qualifications:

Valid Oregon State nursing license or proof of application and fingerprinting process.
Minimum of 1 year of recent NICU experience.
Current BLS and NRP certifications, or State Licensure.
Epic EHR experience is required.
Ability to float across units and adapt to varying clinical environments.
Strong clinical assessment and neonatal care skills.
