Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as required to practice in Texas schools
• Prior experience conducting student evaluations, reevaluations, and participating in IEP meetings
• Experience as a Case Manager or demonstrated organizational and collaborative skills
• Ability to supervise and mentor SLPAs, including both monolingual and bilingual professionals

Primary Duties:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and re-evaluations
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing specialized insight and recommendations
• Manage a caseload of students, ensuring compliance with all state and federal guidelines
• Serve as Case Manager, tracking student progress and maintaining necessary documentation
• Supervise and support two SLPAs (one monolingual, one bilingual), providing guidance and ensuring best practices
• Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to foster student success
