Senior Equipment Engineer

Senior Equipment Engineer - US, New York - Contract Ireland is a hive of activity for the Life Sciences Sector at present with global players setting up new and expanding existing manufacturing facilities all over the World. An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for a global pharmaceutical organisation on a major expansion project based in New York. What you’ll do: Serve as the point person for coordinating all lab equipment related requirements on all Capital Projects. Be a team player with strong communication and collaboration skills. Work with R&D finance to budget and plan all major equipment, including special requirements, testing, shielding, shipping and rigging issues. Conduct field visits to the construction site, including checking rough‑in of utilities and utility connection points while finish work is being completed. What you’ll need: Degree qualification. Ability to read and understand detailed lab equipment specifications, construction documents and contractor submittals. In‑depth knowledge of electrical, plumbing and process gas requirements for lab equipment. Experience (or similar experience) working on biopharmaceutical research laboratory and vivarium design and construction projects, especially in the site supervision of construction activities. #J-18808-Ljbffr Quanta Consultancy Services Ltd
