What You'll DoPerform First Article, in-process, and final inspections of fabricated sheet metal and machined components.Inspect welded components through visual weld inspectionInspect purchased materials to verify conformance to requirements.Read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and customer requirementsVerify components meet applicable customer, military, and industry standards.Record inspection results accurately in accordance with the company's Quality Management System (QMS)Identify and help resolve production and quality issues.Perform calibration and verification of hand measurement devicesUtilize precision inspection equipment, including:VerniersMicrometersThread gagesHeight gagesOptical comparatorsCoordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)Apply knowledge of GD&T, statistics, sampling, gauging methods, and process controlUtilize Virtek Scanner technology as required.Support quality audits and maintain accurate inspection documentation.Count, lift, move, and handle materials as part of daily inspection activities.Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.? What We're Looking ForExperience in machine shop, metal inspection, manufacturing, or assemblyStrong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specificationsKnowledge of GD&T and dimensional inspection principlesUnderstanding of statistical methods, sampling, gauging, and process control.Experience with precision measurement tools and inspection equipment.Virtek Scanner experience preferred.Experience in a defense manufacturing environment preferredFamiliarity with MIL-SPEC and MIL-STD requirements preferredStrong problem-solving and communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a manufacturing team.Ability to lift and move materials as needed.???
