Senior Research Analyst

Sr. Research Data AnalystWe are seeking a Sr. Research Data Analyst who will build complex data models and conduct complex data analysis in support of research projects, programs, and/or studies. The Sr. Research Data Analyst is responsible for coordination of data and data analysis activities across multiple studies.Specific Duties & ResponsibilitiesDevelop, manage, and maintain a database for study data for multiple studies.Develop standard operating procedures for initial data entry and data updates.Oversee quality control procedures for database and ongoing analysis.Develop data models.Conduct statistical analyses of data collected in this system to support empirical study.Build transmission models.Create and curate software tools across diverse programming languages in support of research efforts.Other duties as assigned.In addition to the duties described aboveWrangle and analyze Electronic Health Record data other real world data including health insurance claims.Use SQL, R and/or Python for statistical analysis.Apply best practices for real-world evidence principles, including bias, confounding, and study design considerations.Minimum QualificationsMaster's Degree in a related field.One year of related experience.Highly specialized advanced knowledge, education and/or training in a specialized field of study to conduct research.Additional education may substitute for required experience, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.Preferred QualificationsPhD in a related field.Strong proficiency in coding and data wrangling with SQL, R and/or Python for statistical analysis.Experience with econometrics techniques.Experience with health cost related data sets.Technical Skills & Expected Level of ProficiencyBiostatistical Analysis - IntermediateData Management and Analysis - IntermediateData Tool and Resource Development - IntermediateData Validation and Quality Assurance - IntermediateProject Management - IntermediateResearch Software Development - IntermediateStatistical Modeling - IntermediateStatistical Programming - IntermediateThe core technical skills listed are most essential; additional technical skills may be required based on specific division or department needs.Classified Title: Sr. Research Data Analyst Role/Level/Range: ACRP/04/MD Starting Salary Range: $55,800 - $97,600 Annually (Commensurate w/exp.)
