About the Role Develop electrical designs for MV switchgear control panels in accordance with customer specifications and IEEE standards. Prepare single-line diagrams, control schematics, wiring diagrams, and bills of material. Read and interpret general arrangement drawings. Select switchgear components such as MCBs, MCCBs, ACBs, contactors, metering devices, test switches, control switches, terminal blocks, and protection relays. Review technical specifications, ensure compliance, and identify design risks early. Coordinate with project engineer, procurement, and liaison teams to resolve issues, maintain delivery quality, and support manufacturability. Support liaison engineering during manufacturing and manage design revisions, documentation control, and status reporting. Drive continuous improvement in design standards, templates, and best practices. Qualifications Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or a related field. Two or more years of hands‑on experience in LV switchgear or control panel design. Strong working knowledge of IEEE standards and switchgear panel design practices. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, SAP, and CRM software. Understanding of electrical components, protection systems, and panel construction. Ability to read and produce technical drawings, schematics, and specifications. Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills. Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications Experience with AutoCAD (2D), EPLAN, or EBASE. Knowledge of Siemens switchgear products or other brands. Benefits Pay range: $68,830 – $117,994 annually, plus standard health and wellness benefits.
