Computer Support SpecialistGDC IT Solutions is currently seeking a Computer Support Specialist in Beloit, WI.Position OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Support Specialist to provide technical and application support across a multi-site environment. This role involves troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues while supporting a wide range of business applications. The ideal candidate has a strong IT support background and is comfortable working in a Windows-based environment with modern and legacy systems.ResponsibilitiesProvide front-line technical support to end users via phone, email, and ticketing systemsTroubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issuesSupport Dell workstations running primarily Windows 11 Pro, with some legacy Windows 10 systemsManage user accounts, permissions, and password resets using Active DirectorySupport connectivity issues including VPN and network troubleshooting (Meraki/Cisco environments)Install, configure, and maintain desktops, peripherals, and applicationsAssist with VoIP system setup and supportProvide support for a variety of business applications, including ERP, manufacturing, and CAD systems (training provided as needed)Document incidents, solutions, and procedures in help desk systemsTravel to support multiple locations when necessaryMaintain and track IT equipment and inventoryCollaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve complex issuesAssist with IT security efforts including phishing testing and audit supportMinimum QualificationsAssociate's or Bachelor's Degree in related fieldExperience in help desk, desktop support, or customer support rolesStrong knowledge of Windows operating systems (Windows 10 & Windows 11)Hands-on experience with Active DirectoryFamiliarity with networking fundamentals (LAN, VPN, security basics)Experience supporting hardware in a Dell workstation environmentAbility to troubleshoot issues independently and efficientlyStrong customer service and communication skillsPreferred ExperienceExperience with Meraki (Cisco-based) network environmentsExposure to ERP, CAD, or manufacturing software systemsFamiliarity with VoIP systems and IT hardware installationsExperience working in multi-site or field support environmentsKnowledge of IT compliance, audits, or security practicesWhat We Do:GDC is a full-service IT Staffing and Solutions company specializing in the areas of IT talent placement, application development, multilingual service desk, networking and infrastructure, business intelligence, and project management.Why Work for GDC?Cutting Edge Technology and InnovationCareer Growth OpportunitiesEmployee-Centric EnvironmentComprehensive Benefits PackageHoliday and VacationEqual Opportunity Workplace:GDC is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer.
