$50,000–$65,000 annually, based on experience
Schedule:
Monday–Friday
8:30 AM – 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Overview
We are seeking a customer-focused Property & Casualty Insurance Specialist to join a growing insurance team in Fishkill, NY. This role supports both new and existing personal lines clients by providing exceptional service, processing policy changes, quoting new business, and helping maintain long-term client relationships.

Property & Casualty Insurance Specialist Responsibilities:

• Service personal lines insurance accounts and assist clients with coverage needs
• Respond to calls, emails, and in-office inquiries regarding policy changes, renewals, and new insurance requests
• Prepare quotes for new business and assist with policy reviews
• Process endorsements, cancellations, reinstatements, and account updates
• Educate clients on coverage options, policy changes, exclusions, and potential exposures
• Remarket accounts when appropriate to provide competitive coverage solutions
• Maintain accurate client records and document all communications
• Build client relationships and assist with retention efforts
• Generate referrals and support new business development initiatives
• Collaborate with carriers, producers, and agency staff to provide excellent customer service

Qualifications & Experience

• Property & Casualty (P&C) License preferred
• Candidates without a license will be considered if they have 1–3 years of insurance industry experience and are willing to obtain their license
• Previous experience in personal lines insurance, insurance customer service, account management, or agency support preferred
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and agency management software
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• High school diploma or equivalent required
