Urology Physician

Ahealthcare facility in Manahawkin, NJ is seeking a Locums Urology Physician toprovide inpatient urology coverage for weekday and weekend 24-hour shifts. Thisopportunity is ideal for a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Urologist who iscomfortable managing inpatient consults, performing procedures as needed, andtaking call in a collaborative hospital environment.

Thefacility is looking for providers who can commit to a minimum of fiveconsecutive shifts per month.

Compensation: $380 Per Hour

PositionDetails

• Shift Schedule: 24-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 AM)
• Weekday and weekend coverage required
• In-house coverage: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Remote call coverage: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Remote call primarily consists of phone consultations with availability to return onsite for emergencies if needed
• One urologist scheduled per shift
• Average patient volume: 8-10 consults daily
• Procedures performed as clinically necessary
• Mid-level providers available to assist in the operating room

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient urology consultations and treatment
• Perform emergent and urgent urologic procedures as needed
• Manage daytime in-house patient care coverage
• Provide overnight remote call coverage with emergency callback availability
• Collaborate with hospital staff and advanced practice providers to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR system

Requirements

• MD or DO required
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
• Active New Jersey medical license required
• Current and active CDS and DEA required
• Ability to independently manage inpatient urologic cases and emergencies
• Must be able to commit to at least five consecutive shifts per month
