Salary: $60,000–$65,000
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-established Tampa-based law firm to identify an experienced Legal Assistant for a busy Probate Litigation and Family Law practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented litigation support professional who enjoys working closely with attorneys and managing cases from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities: • Provide high-level litigation support to attorneys in probate litigation and family law matters
• Manage and maintain electronic and physical case files, including e-filing and organizing large volumes of discovery
• Draft, format, and proofread pleadings, motions, and legal correspondence
• Assist with preparation for hearings, mediations, and trials
• Coordinate communication with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
• Calendar deadlines, hearings, depositions, and trial-related events
• Ensure accurate organization of documents within the document management system
• Navigate court rules and filing procedures related to probate litigation and family law
• Support new matter intake and conflict check processes
Qualifications: • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Legal Assistant in a litigation environment
• Prior experience with probate litigation and/or family law strongly preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and legal document management systems; iManage experience is a plus
• Strong understanding of court filing procedures, both electronic and in-person
• Proven experience supporting discovery, case management, and trial preparation
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven
• Discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information
• Team-focused mindset with a commitment to client service
• High school diploma required
