Location

Los Angeles, CA | Hybrid

Enjoy the flexibility of working remotely while collaborating with our team in person approximately 1 to 2 days per week in the Downey/Norwalk area. We welcome candidates throughout Southern California who are comfortable with this commute.

Note

Candidates must have 5+ years of law firm recruiting experience, including direct attorney sourcing and recruitment for private practice law firms. We are looking for someone who can build effective recruiting systems and processes, manage external recruiting partners, and collaborate confidently with law firm leadership across multiple firms.

Job Description

• Lead attorney recruiting efforts across multiple law firms, focusing on associates and non-equity partners in insurance defense and related litigation practices.
• Identify and engage top legal talent through direct outreach, networking, referrals, and strategic sourcing.
• Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
• Partner with law firm leadership to understand hiring priorities, team dynamics, and long-term talent needs.
• Develop and implement scalable recruiting processes, including candidate sourcing, screening, interviews, and offer management.
• Build and manage relationships with external recruiters and search firms, optimizing hiring results and recruiting costs.
• Track recruiting metrics, including pipeline activity, time-to-fill, hiring costs, and candidate retention.
• Drive successful placements by matching candidates with the right opportunities, teams, and firm cultures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of law firm recruiting experience, including attorney recruitment for private practice law firms.
• Proven success sourcing and placing attorneys through direct outreach and relationship building.
• Experience developing or improving recruiting systems, workflows, and processes.
• Ability to manage external recruiting agencies and evaluate recruiting performance.
• Strong relationship-building skills and experience collaborating with law firm partners and senior management.
• Experience using applicant tracking systems, recruiting metrics, and data to improve hiring outcomes.
• Familiarity with insurance defense or related litigation practices is preferred.
• Ability to commute to the Downey/Norwalk area approximately twice per week.
