Labor and Delivery RN

Cibola General Hospital in Grants, NM is seeking a skilled and compassionate Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated team! As part of our exceptional healthcare family, you'll be instrumental in providing top-tier care to expectant mothers and their families in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and assess laboring patients, including vital signs and fetal heart rate.
Provide hands-on care during labor, including administering medications, supporting deliveries, and managing pain relief options.
Educate patients and families about the labor and delivery process, as well as postpartum care.
Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and healthcare professionals to ensure safe, high-quality delivery outcomes.
Accurate documentation of patient care, ensuring thorough records throughout the labor and delivery process.
Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies or complications, adhering to established protocols.
Maintain a sterile and clean environment in compliance with hospital infection control standards.

Qualifications:

Active RN license in New Mexico (or eligibility to obtain one).
Preferred: BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing).
BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
