ServiceNow Product Owner - Security Portfolio

Location: Detroit ( Remote)Pay Rate: $97.00-$108.80Job description: The team is currently seeking an experienced ServiceNow Product Owner - Security Portfolio to lead the vision, technical roadmap, and Agile delivery for enterprise security solutions on the ServiceNow platform. This role oversees a comprehensive suite of security products, including: Security Operations (SecOps) Business Continuity Management (BCM) The Security Review Program Bespoke custom applications across physical, cyber, and digital security domains Working in close partnership with Business Stakeholders, Chief Information Security Office (CISO) leadership, Enterprise Architects, Technical Leads, and Agile development teams, this role champions an out-of-the-box (OOTB)-first approach, enforces platform best practices, and drives high-impact security automation.Responsibilities:Drive the end-to-end strategy, Agile execution, and lifecycle roadmaps for the Security portfolio, including SecOps (Vulnerability Response, Security Incident Response, Configuration Compliance, DLP), Business Continuity Management (BIA, DR, Crisis Management), the Security Review Program, and custom physical/cyber security applications.Prioritize the product backlog into actionable user stories and sprint deliverables while partnering with Technical Leads to enforce out-of-the-box solution architecture.Ensure robust API integrations with third-party security tools aligned to CSDM and CMDB governance.Oversee quality assurance and platform upgrades through production deployment.Lead the vision, technical roadmap, and Agile delivery for enterprise security solutions on the ServiceNow platform while driving high-impact security automation and enforcing platform best practices.Work in close partnership with Business Stakeholders, Chief Information Security Office (CISO) leadership, Enterprise Architects, Technical Leads, and Agile development teams to support successful delivery across the Security portfolio.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university is preferredExperience: 4+ years of hands-on product ownership, business analysis, or technical implementation experience within the ServiceNow platform.Domain Expertise: Proven track record delivering solutions across SecOps (SIR/VR), BCM, and custom ServiceNow workflow automation.Methodologies: Strong experience working with Agile Scrum, SAFe, and Kanban frameworks.Deep knowledge of ServiceNow table structures, workflow engines (Flow Designer), Access Control Lists (ACLs), Script Includes, and standard catalog/portal configurations.Working understanding of security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST CSF, ISO 27001, SOC 2) as applied to automated platform workflows.Strong data acumen with experience leveraging CSDM 4.0/5.0 to map security incidents and vulnerabilities to business applications and critical infrastructure.Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to bridge technical engineering teams and senior security leadership.Growth mindset with a focus on ownership and outcome-based results in large, complex environments.Required ServiceNow Certifications:Certified System Administrator (CSA)Certified Application Developer (CADSecurity & Domain-Specific Certifications: (Preferred / Highly Desirable)CIS - Security Incident Response (CIS-SIR)CIS - Vulnerability Response (CIS-VR)CIS - Business Continuity Management (CIS-BCM)CIS - Risk and Compliance (CIS-RC)
